- Why a Step-In Harness?
Supportive harnesses have been recommended by all Australian animal protection governing bodies as the preference over collars for use when going on walks and travelling in cars.
- For Puppies
Like human babies, puppies' bones and joints are still forming up until 1 year old or even 2 years old for large breed dogs. Until their bones are fully formed, they don't have the correct protection in their throats to be able to put pressure in this area if they were to pull on the lead. A correctly fitting, snug harness is recommended as it supports them properly under the chest and back, reducing pressure on areas that are still developing. Offering a step-in harness means puppies don't have to squish it over their head, hurting their ears and putting pressure on their spine.
- For Strong Pullers
As with puppies, the throat is a sensitive area that, if putting pressure on it consistently over time, can cause damage in the longer term, notably conditions like megaesophagus. If your dog pulls when on the lead during their walks, a harness is a more supportive, safer option than a collar. If you're blessed with a pup who walks nicely next to you on your walks, then a harness is only needeed for car travel!

Summer Fling Harness
This is the 3rd harness I have purchased from Pupstyle. One is for a Christmas present for my grandpup who will look adorable in this harness.
My son couldn't get a harness to fit over Herbie's head and I showed him how these ones work.
I'll keep buying them.

Super cute
This is such a cute little harness for my chihuahuas. My smallest dog is only 1.6kgs and she is unable to wear a harness that slips over her head. She is so small that it was hard to find a harness without bulky buckles that also unclips around her neck so this is perfect and so happy I came across Pupstyle. Bambi and Minnie have received so many compliments since I bought their new harnesses and I think it’s because, yes the dogs are cute, but the harnesses really top off their cuteness <3

There is nothing wrong with the harness itself however the sizing guide on your page needs looking at. I measured my puppy as per instructions on the sizing guide and it said she was in the xs range. When I got the harness it is way to small and couldn't do it up around her neck. I looked into returning it and getting next size up but the cost involved was more than it cost for me to buy one from a pet shop. Basically I've been left with a product that I can't use

Sorry to hear that you've had troubles with the sizing for your pup. Getting the size right is the hardest part to begin with as their little bodies can affect the way the harness fits or sits and may mean the exact measurements you've taken aren't the most accurate way to size them. We are also in the process of updating our returns process where we provide a returns label and the re-shipping of the new size for a flat fee of $15. It's not active on our site yet, but if this sounds like a better option for you, please feel free to email us at woof@pupstylestore.com and we'll be happy to pop this through manually for you. If you want to include your pup's breed, measurements and weight in the email, we can also help to make sure you'll be swapping for the correct size.

So this is the second harness I’ve purchased for my 2 yr old cockapoo. I absolutely love them! They’re super cute and extremely well made. My problem is that they just don’t fit her quite right and it makes me sad because these are by far the cutest and great value for the money. My Kona is about 20lbs and I first bought her a medium which fits her great around the chest but is really big at the neck. Then I tried a small which just barely fits at the chest and is tight at the neck. Looks too small when it’s on. So unfortunately, as much as I love this product and brand, I can’t see me purchasing them in the future since I can’t get the fit right. I would highly recommend though if your dog has the right measurements. And I wish Pupstyle all the best!
