The carabiner on the front of the bag is rated to 300kg of strength, which means it can handle most everyday walks and runs without any drama.

A couple of important things to know: it's designed to connect to the D-ring on the handle of the matching Pupstyle leash (not to the leash clip end), and it works best for dogs who walk on a loose lead or are jogging alongside you.

We don't recommend it for large, strong pullers or dogs who lunge, as any hands-free walking setup isn't designed to absorb that kind of force. Walk on the safe side and use your best judgement for your pup's size and strength.

More than you'd think!

You've got four separate zipped pockets including a hidden inner pocket for small valuables, a dedicated key clasp so your keys don't go rogue at the bottom of the bag, and a quick-access front slot for poop bags so you're not unzipping anything mid-stride.

In the main compartment, you can comfortably fit your phone, a roll of poop bags, treats, a tennis ball, a foldable water bowl, and your wallet.

Day-to-day, a quick wipe down with a soapy sponge is all it needs which, given what usually ends up in a dog parent's bag, is very good news.

If it needs a proper refresh, it's machine washable at up to 30°C in a delicates bag.

We recommend letting it air dry rather than tumble drying to keep the hardware and strap in great shape.

Treat residue on the inside lining? A damp cloth with a small amount of mild detergent does the trick.
